With his quick wit, incisive observations, and bold stage presence Kyle Brownrigg can only be described as memorable. Kyle’s own embarrassment and personal struggles are always on the table making his work relatable to any audience.

Oh and he’s funny.

Kyle is a Canadian Comedy Award nominee who has taped various stand-up performances for The Comedy Network, CBC Radio & Television. He has also performed at Just for Laughs, JFL42, The Halifax Comedy Festival, Bluesfest, The Sudbury Comedy Festival, The 905 Comedy Festival, We’re Funny That Way Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in Sirius XM’s Top Comic Competition; a nationwide search for Canada’s next top comic.

With Special Guests:

Shawna Edward

Shawna Edward is a Toronto based stand up comedian, horror writer, script supervisor, and shark expert. She currently co-produces Bi-Pandemonium, a part of QAPD’s weekly PRIDE show at Comedy Bar, cohosts The R.I.P. Podcast (available on iTunes, and Spotify), she tells stories good.
Luba Magnus

Luba brings a unique act to the stage, combining her jokes with music and drawings. She began performing stand-up in Toronto in 2006, and was quickly nominated to perform at the annual Fresh Meat showcase at Second City in 2007. After some time away from the stage, Luba returned to Toronto in early 2016, and has since appeared on some of the city’s most popular shows, toured through western Canada and Montreal, has been heard on SiriusXM, and performed at the 2017 and 2018 SheDot festivals. Most recently, she was nominated as a “Breakout Comic of the Year” at the 2019 I Heart Jokes awards.

She is incredibly self-aware of her quirkiness and fully embraces that in her stand-up routine.
Jennifer Hsiung

Jennifer Hsiung has a last name that no one can pronounce correctly. She loves scones, vanilla ice cream, Game and Thrones, and her kids (perhaps in that order). The mother of three was an international television anchor for China Central Television in Beijing for 10 years (where she covered two Olympic Games, a G20 Summit, and interviewed a bunch of famous people), and has just relocated back to her hometown of Toronto last September.

She started pursuing stand-up comedy in China after baby number two came out, and made her Comedy Central debut in season three of “Stand-Up Asia!” last summer where she was featured in the first episode with Canadian comedian Sugar Sammy. She has hosted and opened for international headliners such as Ahmed Ahmed, Tony Woods, Kate Willett, Mike Ward, Mike Vechionne and Nazeem Hussein. Two months after giving birth to her third son (yep, the babies just kept coming) she competed in the 2017 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition and was the only female to reach the finals.

Jennifer has been delighting and disgusting audiences throughout Asia, and now North America, with her various impersonations, classy vagina jokes, and observations about motherhood, childhood, racism, astrology, physics, pop culture, English cucumbers and everything in between.
AJ Bate

AJ Bate is a comic from Hamilton that’s performed all over Southern Ontario, he was a finalist on go yuk yourself 2016.
Aiden O’Loughlin

Aidan O’Loughlin is a wide-awake nightmare, born and raised in Toronto. He has the attitude of a hot person with the ugly of an ugly person. He feels VERY comfortable using comedy to trick people into liking him. He’s one of those people who thinks they should have a podcast, and co-hosts We’ll Circle Back. You’ll also know his work from relatable tweets (@aidan_oloughlin) and text messages he’s helped friends write to their crush.
Mike Payne

Mike Payne is a rising star hailing from the Toronto comedy scene. His style can be described as self-deprecating virtue signaling, or, simply as fat and loud. Mike is the winner of the 2018 Etobicoke’s Top Comic competition, was selected to participate in 2018 Brantford Comedy Festival, and has routinely appeared at comedy venues including Yuk Yuks, Absolute Comedy and Comedy Bar. Mike has opened for Martha Chaves, Sandra Battaglini, Arthur Simeon and other prominent Canadian comedians. Mike hosts a long-running weekly show in Leslieville, called Comedy Appetizer.
