Black Sheep @ Rorschach, October : Meet the Comics

Black Sheep Comedy is coming back to Leslieville’s Rorschach Brewing Co. on October 18th with a hilarious lineup! Enjoy some delicious food, incredible craft beer (complimentary 12oz beer or pop at entry) and, of course, a very talented lineup of comedians!

Headliner Kyle Brownrigg

Kyle is a Canadian Comedy Award winning comedian who has taped various stand-up performances for The Comedy Network, CBC Radio & Television. He has also performed at Just for Laughs, JFL42, The Halifax Comedy Festival, Bluesfest, The Sudbury Comedy Festival, The 905 Comedy Festival, We’re Funny That Way Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in Sirius XM’s Top Comic Competition; a nationwide search for Canada’s next top comic.

With his quick wit, incisive observations, and bold stage presence Kyle Brownrigg can only be described as memorable. Whether he is tackling senseless or serious subject matter, the audience is met with consistent hilarity. Kyle’s own embarrassment and personal struggles are always on the table making his work relatable to any audience.

Oh and he’s funny.

Rush Kazi

Rush Kazi is a Montreal-born, Toronto-based, non-binary, bipedal, carbon-based stand-up, sketch, and musical comic. Rush uses She/They/He pronouns. A Second City alum, Rush has performed at the following festivals: SheDot, Toronto Fringe, Leelfest, Garden City Comedy Festival, both Toronto and Montreal Sketch Festivals, and has showcased for JFL42. She has produced Toronto’s longest running musical comedy show Comedy Mixtape (nee Off-Key Comedy) since 2013, produces the Asian All-Stars Comedy Showcase series at the iconic Rivoli Pool Hall, and has run the open mic, Laughter Luau since 2012. is an alum of the IBPOC LGBTQ Sketch Troupe, Fusion.   

Clif Knight

Clif Knight is a Guyanese born comedian based in Toronto where he does shows all around the city, including The Nubian Show with Kenny Robinson, SHADE with Anasimone George. He’s performed at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York, The Comedy Studio in Boston and The Comedy Nest in Montreal. He participated in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, the NXNE Festival and the Living Room Comedy Festival in Toronto. Sometimes he makes way too many pancakes.

Candice Gregoris

Candice revels in her passive-aggressive style of stand-up comedy, making unusual connections to the absurd in everyday life. She’s a regular performer on stages around Toronto, has performed stand-up in New York and Los Angeles, and is a member of the Mary-Janes of Comedy, an all-woman group of touring comics. 

She has been a selected performer at the She Dot Comedy Festival and was a finalist in the Toronto Comedy Brawl competition and a former Canadian Comedy award nominee.

James Azizieh

James Azizieh, the first of his name, is a newcomer to the comedy stage and recent graduate of The Second City stand up comedy program. You don’t know him from any awards, tv shows or movies, but if you’re on Grindr then you might recognize his thumbnail before you rightfully hit “block”.  Bringing you a heavy helping of Queer Comedy, James is serving you full on rainbow eggplant realness.
