Headliner RACHEL MANSON
Rachel Manson is a Toronto based writer, actor and comedian. She is showcased on Episode 11 Season 5 of The New Wave of Stand Up on CBC. Rachel also headlined JFL 42 in Toronto.
Rachel tours across the country, opening for headliners like Jared Freid, Pinky Patel, Judah Freidlander, Sheba Mason and more. She performed in JFL Vancouver, JFL42 and competed in the SheDevil and Devil Cup Comedy Competitions in NYC where she finished in the top 3. She’s also performed at the Dallas Comedy Festival, the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, the San Diego Comedy Festival, Seattle Highlarious Comedy Festival, and many more.
Rachel writes for TV and film. She has worked in project development with Debbie Liebling (Pen15) and Sam Raimi. She writes features for TUBI, with Marvista and Neshama Entertainment. Her original series Nerotica, was chosen as a MIPTV Official Selection for the Drama Pitch Category, Top 10 Selection of the Stage32 Comedy Competition and for CBC Relief Funding.
Rachel is also a playwright, having received critical acclaim for her one act plays awarded Honourable Mention in the Saxton Playwrighting Competition. Her play 7 Minutes in Heaven was presented as part of the 10 minute play festival called the blackShow at the InspiraTO Festival, where it won Best Play of the festival, People’s Choice, and Best Performance by a Female Actor.
Rachel is also a script writer and script supervisor. She completed the Web Series Incubator with Women On Screen out of VICE Toronto. She writes for NOW Toronto, Parton and Pearl Bellesa, Lady Spike as well as several production companies, including Loco Motion Pictures. You can catch Rachel’s podcast Tarts and Craft with fellow comedian Melanie Dahling on the Sonar Network. Her web series, Comedians Getting High and Watching Hallmark Movies (or Highhallmark on socials) is premiering in the coming weeks, the trailer has already attracted almost 10,000 views in a few days.
ADA NICOLLE
Ada Nicolle (she/her) is a comedian based in Toronto, Ontario. Ada’s appeared on the Guelph Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs’ Late Bad, and hosts the stand-up show Vibraslap! She can be found online making crosswords as well as fancams of Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry (@adanicklmao)
KARLIE LAVERTY
Karlie Laverty is a Toronto-based stand-up comedian. Since starting at The Second City she has performed at comedy clubs and festivals all over the city, such as The Comedy Lab, Comedy Bar, Ladyfest Toronto and Kenan Thompson’s Pop-Up Comedy Fest. She has competed in several roast battles, for which she is undefeated. Her sunny personality and light-hearted humour come with a surprising edge that keeps you on your toes and makes for a fun watch.
SAM GOLDMAN
Sam Goldman is a comedian whose material draws from his everyday experiences navigating life on the autism spectrum, delivering sharp, honest, and personal comedy. He performs regularly at Yuk Yuk’s every Tuesday and has appeared many times at Comedy Bar Bloor. Sam has been featured at the Northern Lights Comedy Festival and has opened for top comedians including Rachel Manson and Sandy Danto. In the summer of 2025, he performed on a comedic lineup at The Brockton Haunt alongside George Rivard. He also creates and shares original sketch content across his social media platforms.
DHAMA
Dhama tormented his wife for years with his jokes, pranks and one-liners but then decided to stop putting his marriage on the line, and instead put other people’s happiness on the line. He is crazy enough to have left behind his corporate career, funny enough to be producing his own shows in Hindi and English in Canada and India, and caring enough to have started Toronto Climate Comedy – where he produces Canada’s first ever climate comedy shows for climate conscious audience and raises money for grass root organisations.
