Alan Shane Lewis

Alan Shane Lewis is a comedian, actor and writer based in Toronto, Canada and also the co-host of THE GREAT CANADIAN BAKING SHOW, for season 4 and 5.

From his early beginnings as a short filmmaker, he has had a constant passion for writing and creating comedy in all its forms. As a standup he has performed at the world-renowned Just for Laughs Festival, NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity, Toronto Sketchfest and headlined Yuk Yuk’s, Canada’s oldest comedy club chain. Lewis has appeared on CBC’s “Because News” and NBA TV and has written for CBC Comedy.

He is an alumni of The Second City. He’s also the host of Shopify’s YouTube series, Curious Business and co-host of the podcast, Do They Deserve Love?

Known for his high-energy and cheerful disposition, Lewis’ comedy is inspired by his experience being an outsider hiding in plain sight. Case in point: his name is so white it needs to wear sunscreen. His work touches on everything from his lived experience as a Black man in Canada to talking to dogs on the TTC.

When he’s not performing, you can often find him on the court dunking basketballs, playing video games on Twitch or attempting to TikTok.

Headliner Ted Morris

Born in Ottawa and now making his home in Toronto, Ted Morris is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer…and small animal veterinarian? He’s clearly going for a very specific niche.

As a stand-up comic he’s been called “fresh faced and hilarious” and “a real gem” by NOW Magazine. He has performed at the “We’re Funny That Way” , Halifax, Winnipeg, Glasgow and Sudbury Comedy Festivals, is a rostered comic for the Yuk Yuk’s chain of comedy clubs and a sought after corporate comedian. In 2016 he made his debut at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal where he filmed a set for Kevin Hart’s LOL Network.

His TV appearances include an hour long “Comedy Now!” stand-up special airing on The Comedy Network and MTV Canada, The Toronto Show, The Comedy Network’s “Canadian Comedy Shorts” and “Punched Up”, MuchMoreMusic’s “Heat Meter”, CBC’s Winnipeg Comedy and Halifax Comedy Festivals and Out TV’s “PopPorn”. His latest appearance at the Halifax fest now has over 2 million online views.

Ted can be heard around the world on Sirius XM Radio and in Canada is undefeated on CBC Radio’s “The Debaters”. He was featured in the short film “Parent Teacher” which was an Official Selection of the LA Comedy Film Festival.

2019 saw the release of his long-awaited debut comedy album “Dawn of the Ted”, an appearance on season 14 of “America’s Got Talent”, his 5th appearance at the Halifax Comedy Festival, a Gala taping at JFL Montreal and a Canadian Comedy Award nomination for Best Stand-up Comic.

2020 saw him staying home. He’s too smart to make plans for 2021. When Ted isn’t performing, he works as a small animal veterinarian, has a nationally syndicated veterinary advice column on CBC Radio 1, and is featured regularly on Global TV’s Morning Show dispensing advice about your weird pets.
