Kate Davis Stand Up Comedian CanadaKate’s comedy career started as a need to get out of her house. So one night after putting the kids to sleep she ventured into a local comedy club and never looked back!

Now, a twelve-time nominee at the Canadian Comedy Awards for Best Female Standup and the prestigious Phil Hartman Award. Kate is also the star of her own hour-long comedy special on CTV and the Comedy Network, “Comedy Now.” Kate Headlines across the country and has performed at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Hubcap Comedy Festival, The Kitchener-Waterloo Comedy Festival and LOL. Kate is also a favorite at corporate events. Kate’s corporate career has allowed her the opportunity to host events for the former President, Bill Clinton, Barbara Walters and many others. She has also proven that funny can raise money and does many charity events for organizations that help teens and kids.

Kate made it to the final round in Toronto for “Last Comic Standing” 2008 season and 2011 in Toronto for NBC’s Stand up for Diversity.

She has appeared on Breakfast Television, The Comedy Network, The Mike Bullard Show, The Toronto Show, Star TV, Toronto 1, Prime, WTN, TVO, CBC Radio One “The Debaters” and The Mom Show.

Todd Van Allen is a Toronto-based comedian that has performed in comedy clubs and festivals around the world. His debut stand-up album “Really?” debuted in the Top 5 of the iTunes comedy charts.

Not only has Todd done the club circuit, but he has headlined at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in Melbourne, Australia, and both the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Edinburgh Free Festival. He has performed at the Just for Laughs #JFL42 Festival in Toronto four times, Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, 1000 Islands Comedy Festival in Gananoque, WinterCity Festival in Toronto, the Orillia Comedy Festival, Kinston Summer Festival, and Gananoque’s Festival of the Islands.

Todd has also opened for comedy greats Emo Philips, Rory Scovel, Dana Gould and Jimmy Pardo.

Todd has appeared on Comedy Network’s “The Beaverton”, CBC Radio’s “Definitely Not The Opera” as well as CBC’s “Spark” and AM640’s ‘Inside Jokes with Sandra Carusi’. He’s also been seen on RogersTV with Val Cole on “daytime toronto”, CITY-TV’s “Breakfast Television” with Jennifer Valentyne. You may also have caught him on CBC’s “Test the Nation” as well as SiriusXM’s “Laugh Attack”, “Anything Goes”, and “The Guest Spot”. He also appeared on an episode of the world famous podcast “Never Not Funny” with Jimmy Pardo. You may have also heard him voice over dozens of commercials for television and radio.

Melissa Story comes by her name honestly. She tells stories of human nature, work-life and relationships with maniacal yet contained anger. Melissa fell in love (became unhealthily obsessed) with comedy in her early years when she started using humor as a tool to make friends and endure enemies.

Melissa is a comedian, writer and actor who is also known as the co-creator of the sketch series and podcast ‘Sex and the Single Parent’. The project has been nominated for two Canadian Comedy Awards and is a great success on the website ‘Funny or Die’. Melissa was invited to Just For Laughs in 2017 for CBC’s ‘Stand Up and Pitch’ contest and recently appeared on CBC’s 2018 Halifax Comedy Festival.

Al Val

Al Val is a comedian, actor, writer and musician based out of Toronto. Starting his comedy career at the young age of 18, Al has since contributed his talents to program both local and national, from London Rogers TV to OutTV, MTV, and YTV. Al has built a respectable following through his unique brand of standup comedy and currently can be seen headlining shows all across North America; however, besides that he is no stranger to the improv and sketch scene, having performed with improv troupe “Starwipe” for 8 years and having graduated from Second City’s Conservative Program. Al is also the co-writer/producer/lead in the webseries “My Roommate and Friend” and can be seen as one half of the improv rock n’ roll duo “OverDude”. Between an always evolving, unique brand of comedy and large breadth of talent, Al Val’s stock as a breakthrough entertainer is surely on the rise, to say the least.

Grace McClure is a Toronto-based stand-up comedian, blogger and former college radio personality (with one international fan, Frank, who lived in Michigan). Growing up on a dairy farm and finding herself working in Silicon Valley, Grace’s unique point of view and cutting observations connect audiences. Grace performs regularly at Comedy Bar, Yuk Yuks, ComedyNest, Absolute, etc., and is currently nominated for IHJ’s 2019 Newcomer Comic of the Year. She co-produces Banged-Up and Punch Up, two popular shows in Toronto’s west end.

Licensed Funeral Director, doting mother, some useless schmucks castrating and hysterical ex wife Hailing from Orillia, Ontario Jennie Steer-Welbourn brings her uniquely shitty attitude and penchant for bringing shame upon her family to the stage. Performing at such venues as Comedy Bar, Social Capital Theatre, and the Underground. Difficult to describe in a short paragraph, her essence has best been captured by the lyrics of Patrick Swayze’s ‘She’s Like the Wind’.
