optimism!
Abbas Wahab

Having spent his last three years living in Michigan and California, Abbas
Wahab is back in Ontario, freshly deported. This Sudanese-born comic immigrated to Canada at six; growing up in London, Ontario. He served six years with the Naval Reserves while completing engineering school, after which he moved to Detroit, where he made his first open mic appearance. In search of clarity into his own views on religion, sexuality, and being hella cheap, he’s taken to the stage throughout the Motor City and San Francisco’s buzzing comedy scene. His material and delivery have been described as having clear influence from comics
like Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr. Audiences are taken on a ride as he tackles the big questions head-on. If nothing else, come out and see what a wasted engineering degree looks like!
