Black Sheep Comedy @ The Well on Church

Black Sheep Comedy is coming to The Well at 487 Church Street, and we could not be more excited. To celebrate our first show at this new venue, we are pulling out all the stops with a super fun lineup including KYLE BROWNRIGG!

Meet your comedians:

Kyle Brownrigg

Kyle Brownrigg is an undeniable presence in Canadian comedy. Originally from Ottawa, Kyle now makes his home in Toronto where he is a local and touring comic. In June 2019 he was named ‘Best Breakout Artist’ at the Canadian Comedy Awards and was a finalist in SiriusXM’s Top Comic competition, the search for Canada’s next top comic, one of JFL42’s New Faces, and was selected as one of Canada’s Homegrown Comics for Just for Laughs. In his short career Kyle has done tapings for Comedy Network, CTV, and CBC Gem as part of Just for Laughs, CBC’s Halifax Comedy Festival, Laugh Out Loud, and The Debaters. He is certainly someone you don’t want to miss.

Vong Sho

Vong burst on to the comedy scene in 2010 with his American television debut on MTV Logo Network’s One Night Stand Up, filmed in San Francisco, California at the historic Great American Music Hall. At the start of 2020, Vong filmed his first Canadian-produced standup comedy concert film live at CBC Glenn Gould Studio in front of back-to-back sold-out audiences. The concert film and accompanying soundtrack are currently in post-production and set for release in 2022.

Luc Coussee

Luc Coussée is an up-and-coming comic from Toronto, Ontario. Luc has a personal and self-deprecating style that audiences immediately warm to. He is a Second City graduate of both the stand-up program and improv program. He most recently won Black Sheep Comedy’s stand up competition TESTING: ATTENTION PLEASE! and is a regular performer on Story With Chong. When not on stage Luc can be found overthinking the universe, drinking or sleeping. Check him out on Instagram @luckyluc1999.

Lou Currie

Lou Currie is a comedian and musician from Peterborough, Ontario. currently enrolled in Humber college’s comedy program, they are a barista by day and a six stringed jokester by night.

Sahil Israni

Sahil Israni is an up-and-coming comedian, born Kuwait, Indian by descent, and now in Canada! He’s been gracing the stages across the GTA but his biggest accomplishment to date is that he has a sandwich named after him. Follow @sahilisrani587 on Instagram
