Black Sheep Comedy is back at Town Brewing Co. in Whitby with an insanely talented lineup, including your headliner IAN SIROTA. Featuring AJ Bate, Anjelica Scannura and Matt Henry. As always, your hosts Cathy MacPherson & Darcia Armstrong will be there, too!

Ian Sirota

Ian has shared the stage with: Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Dennis Miller, Robin Williams, Howie Mandel and Dana Carvey and headlines comedy clubs across North America. Ian was a regular cast member and writer for Comedy Inc. Comedy Now, Gutterball Alley, Mr. D, The Debaters and many more! Ian has been nominated for not one but two Gemini Awards including “Best Comedy Performance” In 2019 Ian performed at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and his gala CBC set was dubbed “Best set of the Fest” by Lara Rae Artistic Director (WCF)

Ian’s famous hoax on Jerry Springer was recently named 50th funniest moment in Canadian Comedy History by Sirius Radio. Number 50 out of the top 150 in history not too shabby.

This sharp tongued, comedian takes no prisoners and can also blend in observational humour with a family focus all the while mastering the audience with lightning crowd work.

A perfect fit for any fundraiser or corporate event Ian has been a regular contributor to Humour Me. The event turns Canada’s biggest CEO’s into stand-up comedians all to raise money for charity. To date the event has raised over 14 million. Ian’s students include shark tank celeb Michael Wekerle and Mayor Jon Tory of Toronto who took home the trophy with Ian in 2017. Ian has coached the winner of this event 5 out of the last 9 years.
