Rebecca Reeds

Rebecca Reeds Headliner

Rebecca Reeds is a stand up comedian and writer from small town Ontario. She began performing in Ottawa in 2011 and has quickly become a comedian to watch out for. She’s performed in the United Kingdom, United States, and all over Canada. She has opened for several distinguished comedians like Tom Green, Beth Stelling, Matt Braunger, and Pete Johansson.

Rebecca has appeared on SiriusXM, Fox, and CBC Comedy where her clip was viewed more than 1 million times. In addition to her appearances on radio and television, Rebecca has performed at several festivals across the country including Toronto’s JFL42, NXNE, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, SheDot, and the Cottage Country Comedy Festival.

In October 2018, The Villain Was Right premiered on the From Superheroes Podcast Network. Along with co-host comedian Craig Fay, Rebecca views movies and TV shows from the villain’s perspective and dares to ask if they were really all that bad.

Foad HP is an actor, comic, and writer from Toronto. He has performed at Just for Laughs, taped a set for Kevin Hart’s Lol Network, won the Toronto Comedy Brawl, written for This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and made guest appearances in American Gods and Nikita.

Elisabeth Bailey

Elisabeth Bailey Comedian and Producer

Elisabeth Bailey is a stand-up comic and producer based in Toronto. She performing in 2016 after completing Dawn Whitwell’s Comedy Girl course. What was supposed to be a one-time bucket list item quickly became a passion, and since then she’s performed at some of the city’s best venues, including Comedy Bar, The Rivoli and Buddies in Bad Times Theatre.

Elisabeth is a founding producer and co-host of Size Up Comedy, a weekly female-forward comedy show where new comic talent shares the stage with the city’s best pros.

Clare Belford

Clare Belford is one of the fresh, new faces in Canada’s robust comedy scene. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Belford now resides in Toronto and has quickly established herself as one of the top young comics in the country. Her well-crafted writing and authentic delivery have made her a favourite among peers and comedy industry people alike. She’s performed at clubs and festivals throughout North America including JFL 42, OFF JFL, SheDot Festival, Field Trip Festival. Recently, Clare signed with Canada’s premiere independent comedy label, Comedy Records.

Meg Mackay

Meg Mackay Comedian Canada

A former Tim Horton’s employee from PEI, Meg moved to Toronto to pursue comedy in 2013. Since then she has performed at many festivals including JFL42, the Dark Comedy festival, the Cottage Country Comedy Festival, and the Halifax Pop Explosion. Her one woman Play “Freelance Witch” garnered two awards at the 2018 Toronto Fringe Festival. She has performed at Montreal and Toronto Sketchfest. Her jokes can be heard on SiriusXM as a part of the Queer and Present Danger Tour. Meg was the 2015 recipient of the Tim Sims Award (Humber College), and the 2014 Joanna Downey Award for up and coming female comedians. Come see the performer Mooney on Theatre called “a dork”!

Velvet Wells

Velvet Wells Comedian Toronto

Velvet Wells is a caramel skinned, velvet voiced queer entertainer from Toronto. A veteran of improvised comedy, he made his stand up debut in 2018 at the Rivoli (Toronto) as part of the Queer and Present Danger: Up+Comers 6. He is a regular guest comedian with the QAPD Collective, Super Gay Fridays, Comic Sans, and other shows in Toronto and Waterloo.

James Azizieh

James Azizieh New Comedian

James Azizieh, the first of his name, is a newcomer to the comedy stage and recent graduate of The Second City stand up comedy program. You don’t know him from any awards, tv shows or movies, but if you’re on Grindr then you might recognize his thumbnail before you rightfully hit “block”.  Bringing you a heavy helping of Queer Comedy, James is serving you full on rainbow eggplant realness.

Mike Payne

Mike Payne Comedy

Mike Payne is a rising star hailing from the Toronto comedy scene. His style can be described as self-deprecating virtue signaling, or, simply as fat and loud. Mike is the winner of the 2018 Etobicoke’s Top Comic competition, was selected to participate in 2018 Brantford Comedy Festival, and has routinely appeared at comedy venues including Yuk Yuks, Absolute Comedy and Comedy Bar. Mike has opened for Martha Chaves, Sandra Battaglini, Arthur Simeon and other prominent Canadian comedians. Mike hosts a long-running weekly show in Leslieville, called Comedy Appetizer.
