Your headliner Courtney Gilmour!

Courtney Gilmour

Courtney Gilmour is one of Toronto’s most sought after comedy talents. She delivered a breakout performance at the 2017 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal by winning the Homegrown Comics Competition and filming a set for Kevin Hart’s LOL Network. Courtney’s victory at the 2017 Just For Laughs Homegrown was the first by a female comic in the 19 year history of the event. In 2018 she topped it with televised performances at the Winnipeg & Halifax comedy festivals, a triumphant return to Montreal this summer for Just for Laughs for a taping on The Comedy Network, and for the second year in a row she was one of the 42 acts at JFL42. Courtney co-produces the hit monthly show So Fresh N’ So Clean, Toronto’s only clean comedy show. Courtney can be heard regularly on CBC radio, CBC’s The Debaters, and SiriusXM Canada Laughs. Catch her live performing with Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Clubs all over Canada!

Featuring Che Durena!

Che Durena came runner up in Sirius XM’S Next Top Comic, he’s headlined JFL42 and appeared on JFL All Access on Comedy Central. His comedy touches on his ridiculous life living abroad and his perception of more serious matters like race, relationship and drugs, always finding the an absurd angle to create a fresh a hilarious perspective.

With Special Guests:

Ben Sosa Wright

Ben Sosa Wright is a pretty stand-up comedian, writer, and improviser from Toronto. A self identified “Taurus Icon,” Ben grounds his kooky (and often spooky) comedy style by incorporating his experiences as a Queer and Latinx person. At just 23-years-old, Ben has already performed at JFL42, NXNE, Limestone Comedy Festival, Toronto’s Big City Improv Festival, Bruce McCulloch’s Young Stars Showcase, and The Museum of Comedy in London. Ben also co-hosts/co-produces Amigas Cheetahs, a monthly comedy show with an emphasis on showcasing comedians who are LGBTQIA2+ and POC. His silly writing can be found at Brunchclub.ca. When Ben is not on stage you can catch him stealing candy at Bulk Barn and NOT getting caught for it.

Candice Gregoris

Candice revels in her passive-aggressive style of stand-up comedy, making unusual connections to the absurd in everyday life. She’s a regular performer on stages around Toronto, has performed stand-up in New York and Los Angeles, and is a member of the Mary-Janes of Comedy, an all-woman group of touring comics.

She has been a selected performer at the She Dot Comedy Festival and was a finalist in the Toronto Comedy Brawl competition and a former Canadian Comedy award nominee.

Jade Niles-Craig

Jade Niles-Craig is an up and coming performer with a background in music, theatre, and get this – musical theatre. Now regularly performing stand-up and drag, with a foot in the musical comedy and improv pool, they’ll say yes to pretty much anything that involves stage time or snacks. Jade has been featured on Yas Kween, 420 Comedy Festival, JFL42, and the Ted X Youth conference. They can otherwise often be found crying into a cheesecake.

Collin Sideris

Collin Sideris is a Toronto based comedian who’s most well known as “the best hair in the game”. This is determined by an official board of comedians and not simply because it’s the easiest way to introduce him. Collin was also in some videos for Herb because what better way to lean into the hair than to appear in some videos about weed! He’s energetic and animated on stage and mostly just hopes that you like him, but if you don’t just pretend ok!
