Headliner Sean Cullen!

Multiple Gemini/Canadian Screen Award/Canadian Comedy Award-winner Sean broke into the business in 1988 as the front man of the seminal musical comedy trio Corky and the Juice Pigs who toured the world. The Juice Pigs were featured on Fox’s MAD TV and released three comedy albums. Sean has been a regular at Just For Laughs, The Halifax Comedy Festival and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival as well as the hit CBC radio show The Debaters.

Cullen has starred in his own television series, The Seán Cullen Show, with appearances on Murdoch Mysteries, Anne: Fire & Fury, Dark Matter, Carter current seasons of Little Dog and Workin’ Moms to name but a few. He was a finalist on NBC’s The Last Comic Standing, and he has appeared on shows such as Ellen, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and The Late Late Show. He has a number of comedy specials under his belt including Comedy Central Presents… Seán Cullen and CTV/ The Comedy Network’s Gemini-nominated Sean Cullen’s Wood, Cheese & Children!

He has leant his voice and writing talents to multi-award winning Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Rocket Monkeys, Margaret Atwood’s Wandering Wenda, Jimmy Two-Shoes earning him an ACTRA Award and the upcoming Netflix PEANUTS series The Snoopy Show to name but a few.

Cullen has appeared at the Shakespeare Theatre Festival in Stratford, ON where he starred in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Peter Pan, and King of Theives and he starred as Max Bialystock in the Canadian Mirvish production of Mel Brooks’ The Producer.

Feature Comedian Liam Kelly

Expect the unexpected from Liam Kelly, a fast talking, high energy comedian. Liam has been making audiences laugh for over 20 years starting with sketch troupe Indoor Recess. Liam’s career has brought him to The Second City and he has worked for Yuk Yuk’s, Showtime Comedy, Premier Comedy and many of Canada’s top clubs. He also hosted and produced Richmond Hill’s longest running weekly comedy show Devilishly Good Comedy for 300 shows.

Grace McClure

Grace McClure is a Toronto-based stand-up comedian, blogger and former college radio personality (with one international fan, Frank, who lived in Michigan). Growing up on a dairy farm and finding herself working in Silicon Valley, Grace’s unique point of view and cutting observations connect audiences. Grace performs regularly at Comedy Bar, Yuk Yuks, ComedyNest, Absolute, etc., and was nominated for IHJ’s 2019 Newcomer Comic of the Year. She co-produces Banged-Up and Size Up, two popular shows in Toronto’s west end.

Alice Rose

Alice Rose is a Toronto comic who started her career in the Kitchener-Waterloo comedy scene. A storyteller at heart, Alice combines introspective personal narratives with larger observations to create an intimate comedy experience. 

Alice performs regularly as a member of the comedy collective Queer and Present Danger, and can be found on stages across Toronto and beyond. She recently competed in Comedian of the North, and has performed on the Las Culturistas podcast as part of JFL42. She has also been seen on CTV Your Morning and Netflix’s Designated Survivor. You can catch Alice at one of her monthly shows: Comic Sans (Waterloo and Hamilton), Tinder Tales (Hamilton), and P R I D E: Gender Outlaws (Toronto).

Brendan D’Sousa

Since starting standup in 2016, Brendan D’Souza has been making waves in the Canadian comedy scene with his frank explorations of queer and POC experiences, and the intersection of the two. Brendan’s rapid fire delivery and unflinching openness has won over audiences all over Ontario.He has been featured on We’re Funny That Way Festival, Cabbagetown Festival, and JFL42, and was recently nominated for the 2019 I Heart Jokes Award for Newcomer Comic of the Year. Brendan lives in Toronto with his roommates cat. He is his mother’s favourite second son.

Angelica Scannura

Anjelica Scannura has been finally taking stand-up comedy seriously for the past 2.5 years!  In that time, she has performed at the Burbank Comedy Club Festival and was also featured in the Best of the Fest showcase.  She has also just completed a residency at the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City.  Always proud to call Toronto home, she performs regularly at The Corner Comedy Club, The Underground Comedy Club, Absolute Comedy, and various shows at Comedy Bar.  She has also performed across the country, having recently completed a cross-Canada tour. She recently won the I Heart Jokes award for Best Female Newcomer, and is in pre-production for fitness/comedy TV show called Anjelica’s 22-minute workout on One TV.
