Carol Zoccoli
As seen on Saturday Night Live Brazil as a cast member, multiple appearances on major Brazilian TV shows, a finalist in Jokenation 2015, international comedy competition at Montreux Comedy Festival in Switzerland, recipient of the 2015 Tim Sims Encouragement Award, Carol now headlines across Toronto!
Che Durena
Che Durena was born and raised in British Columbia, He decided to make to jump to Toronto when he discovered his love for stand up comedy. Since then he’s been hustling the GTA comedy scene to become one of the city’s best up and comers. He came runner up in Sirius XM’S Next Top Comic, headlined a show at JFL42, and has appeared on JFL All Access on Comedy Central.
His comedy touches on his ridiculous life living abroad and his perception of more serious matters like race, relationship and drugs. Always finding the absurd angle to create a fresh a hilarious perspective.
Dave Getachew
Dave performs all around Ontario. He has opened for Letterkenny’s K. Trevor Wilson, WWE’s Jake the Snake Roberts, and Canadian legends Gavin Stephens and Kenny Robinson.
Dave allegedly started his comedy career plucked out of obscurity as a small African child by a crazed Dave Chappelle. Somehow they took the wrong flights and Dave Getachew ended up in Canada. Chappelle said over Skype, “figure out comedy in Canada and then come see me”.
Bee Bertrand
Bee Bertrand is a Toronto based comic who is a part of QAPD, and has previously performed in Shade, Crimson Wave, Church Street Comedy, and Cara Connors Weekly Special. Bee daylights as a Production Assistant for commercials during the day, and spends their days trolling Nigerian Princes while drinking boxed wine, and helicopter parenting two high maintenance cats.
Melanie Dahling
Melanie Dahling, a recent transplant from Winnipeg, has been taking Toronto by storm with her combination of writing skills and fabulously unfabulous stage persona. You may have seen Melanie in Winnipeg Comedy Fest, SheDot Fest and ALTdot Comedy Lounge at the Rivoli.
Rahil Shaikh
Rahil Shaikh is a comedian from India and is now based in Toronto.
Rahil Shaikh loves – much to the disdain of others – long walks, blue skies, a warm muffin and an occasional slice of pizza. Rahil Shaikh has quickly established himself as a passionate and fast-rising talent who will stop at nothing. Not even a stop sign. His words, not mine.
Also, he likes jokes. When not performing comedy, Rahil Shaikh can be found eating dogs and petting donuts.
Max Sheldrick
Max Sheldrick got his start in comedy in the gritty scenes of Windsor and Detroit where he then toured the tri-state area quickly becoming known as one of the top rising comics. In 2017 he moved to Toronto where he has continued to make a name for himself. He was semi-finalists in both 2017 Border City Comedy Festival and 2018 Comedy brawl, and he won Sept 2018’s GoYukYourself. He also co-created a popular comedy group, which produces weekly online sketches and monthly live shows with a rapidly growing fan base.
Edworld Kim
Edworld Kim is an Asian-based Korean entertainer specialized in doing a variety of fun movements in any location. He has been mainly Emcee-ing when he was in his home country. In addition, he held diverse parties as a party planner when he was staying in China, making his skills more abundant when he does stand-up. Currently, he has been doing stand-up comedy to bring happiness to people and to make them stick together. His jokes are universal, multi-cultural, and works regardless of ethnicity. He never stops moving, and his audiences always expect huge amounts of fun, inventiveness and freshness from him. He never stops cracking jokes regardless of where he is, as long as it can make someone feel funny and happy. He has been studying in Humber Comedy Program since 2017.
