Join Black Sheep Comedy at Rorschach Brewing Co. for a night of hilarious laughs and delicious craft beer AND a great cause! As part of a cross-city comedy initiative, we will have THE best comedians, performing their hearts out for Canned Laughter in support of The Daily Bread Food Bank!

Entry to this awesome night is a non-persishable food item (or $10 cash at the door), which will be donated to The Daily Bread Food Bank. You will get a complimentary 12oz beer (or pop, if you prefer) at entry AND get to laugh along with some of Toronto’s most talented comedians.

Kate Davis

A twelve-time nominee at the Canadian Comedy Awards for Best Female Standup and the prestigious Phil Hartman Award. Kate is the star of her own hour-long comedy special on CTV and the Comedy Network, “Comedy Now.” Kate headlines across the country and has performed at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Hubcap Comedy Festival, The Kitchener-Waterloo Comedy Festival and LOL. She’s appeared on Breakfast Television, The Comedy Network, The Mike Bullard Show, The Toronto Show, Star TV, Toronto 1, Prime, WTN, TVO, CBC Radio One “The Debaters” and The Mom Show. Kate has hosted events for the former President, Bill Clinton, Barbara Walters and many others.

Michael Moses

Michael Moses is now a comedian coming out of Niagara Falls, Ontario as he just moved in with his girlfriend, making big moves in his personal life as well as his comedy career. He has performed at Massey Hall for New Year’s Eve and  at the 2019 Halifax Comedy Festival where his set was taped for the CBC. A frequent traveler to America for comedy festivals he will be apart of his 7th american comedy festival at the Cleveland Comedy Festival in November. This isn’t a bio it’s a letter to his girlfriend saying he will get her money for the mortgage soon, comedy may just pan out for him.

Robert Watson

Robert Watson is an award-winning playwright, actor and fragrance aficionado extraordinaire. He is the creator/producer of the super gay Canadian Comedy Award winning web series A GAY VICTORIAN AFFAIR http://agayvictorianaffair.com/, a Downton Abbey meets Queer as Folk fantasia of homosexual historical hanky-panky. Robert is a mainstay of the queer comedy community producing and hosting Back Room Comedy, Cabbagetown Comedy and Gay AF @ Comedy Bar. He’s funny on Twitter too: @ThisIsRobWatson

Rachel Manson

Rachel is a Toronto based writer, actor and comedian. She competed in the Devil Cup Comedy Competition in New York, where she came 3rd overall and opened for Judah Friedlander. She also named in 3rd at the SheDevil Comedy Competition. Previous to that, she performed at the Dallas Comedy Festival, the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, the San Diego Comedy Festival and the Seattle Highlarious Comedy Festival. As an actor, you can catch her in NONAME campaign, WAYNE on YoutubeRED and on What We Do in the Shadows Season 2.

Anjelica Scannura

Anjelica Scannura has been finally taking stand-up comedy seriously for the past 2.5 years!  In that time, she has performed at the Burbank Comedy Club Festival and was also featured in the Best of the Fest showcase.  She has also just completed a residency at the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City.  Always proud to call Toronto home, she performs regularly at The Corner Comedy Club, The Underground Comedy Club, Absolute Comedy, and various shows at Comedy Bar.  She has also performed across the country, having recently completed a cross-Canada tour. She recently won the I Heart Jokes award for Best Female Newcomer, and star of fitness/comedy TV show Anjelica’s 22-minute workout on One TV.

Elisabeth Bailey

Elisabeth Bailey is a stand-up comic and producer based in Toronto. She performing in 2016 after completing Dawn Whitwell’s Comedy Girl course. What was supposed to be a one-time bucket list item quickly became a passion, and since then she’s performed at some of the city’s best venues, including Comedy Bar, The Rivoli and Buddies in Bad Times Theatre.

Elisabeth is a founding producer and co-host of Size Up Comedy, a weekly female-forward comedy show where new comic talent shares the stage with the city’s best pros.

Andy Argueta

Andy Argueta is the class clown. He’s the kid who would never think before his spoke. Now, he’s bringing his antics to the stage. Andy draws his madness from performers such as Bill Hicks, Sam Kinison and Eddie Murphy. 

A sensitive and romantic gentleman from the suburbs of Toronto; the buffon has always been one to laugh at and not with. And when he’s not on stage he’s at home binge watching 90’s rom-coms crying over his past lovers.

Last year, as part of this city-wide initiative presented by Canadian Comedy Awards, we collected over $3000 worth of food (1,346 lbs) and $800 cash for the Daily Bread Food Bank! Let’s see if we can beat that number this year!
